On the 26th March 2012 Rev.mo Fr. Miroslav Adam Konštanc O.P was nominated Rector Magnifico of the University of St. Thomas d'Aquino by the Grand Chancellor, Rev.mo Fr. Bruno Cadoré, with the approval of the Congregation of Catholic Education, Vatican City. Rev.mo fr. Father Miroslav Adam Konštanc O.P., was born on 2nd August 1963 in Michalovce in Slovakia.

OATH TAKING CEREMONY OF THE NEW RECTOR MAGNIFICO |
|
The oath taking ceremony of the new Rector, FR. MIROSLAV KONŠTANC ADAM, O.P. shall take place on Friday, 4th May at 12.00 noon in the Aula Minor, classes will end at 11.55.
Refreshments to follow in the Sala delle Colonne.
All are encouraged to participate.
N.B. 1. The Mass that day at 12.25 stands cancelled.
2. The afternoon classes will be held as usual.
3. Fr. Michael Carragher, O.P. continues as the Vice-Rector till the 4th May 2012. |

On the 3rd November 2011, the Holy Father Benedict XVI nominated the Rector Magnificus of the Angelicum University as the Bishop of Lausanne, Geneva and Fribourg (Switzerland).
The Staff and the Students and the personnel of the Angelicum congratulate the Bishop-elect and assure him of their prayers.
