1. The University  is composed of Faculties and Institutes of specialization erected by Apostolic Authority. At the moment these are:  the Faculty of Theology, the Faculty of Canon Law, the Faculty of Philosophy and the Faculty of Social Sciences.

2. To these are added Institutes, approved by Apostolic Authority, which according to the norms of Art. 22, 7°, are constituted or included in a particular Faculty. At present these are: The Institute of Spirituality, the Superior Institute of Religious Sciences, “Mater Ecclesiae”, and the Institute of St. Thomas Aquinas.

3. Besides these, there are Institutes affiliated, associated o incorporated into the University according to the norms of Art. 22, 7°, having their own proper Statutes approved by Apostolic Authority (Sapientia Christiana, Arts. 62-63: Ordinations, Arts. 47-48).
