Rules for examinations
1. At every examination of a student, the Professor shall give a mark from 1 to 10.
2. When the mark is below 6, the examination shall be deem as not passed, and the student will have to repeat it according to the terms of these Rules.
3. An examination once passed, cannot be repeated.
4. An examination not passed cannot be repeated during the same session.
5. An examination, semestral or annual, not passed can be repeated for a maximum three times (including the first attempt).
6. A Degree examination (ad gradum) not passed can be repeated for a maximum two times (including the first attempt).
7. The student must register himself/herself for the examinations at least two weeks before the examination session, and may withdraw his/her registration three days before the examination. The registration of the examinations shall be passed on to the General Secretariat according to the norms of each Faculty.
8. Once registered, if one does not present oneself for the examination, one will have to pay a fine, forfeit the session and will not be able to sit for the examination in the same session. If the absence is due to for health reasons, one must produce a medical certificate to that effect.
9. With regard to points nos. 4 and 8, the Deans may decide on what course to adopt in particular cases.
10. Ordinarily during the winter and summer examination periods, there will two sessions for the examination.
